I built Taskgregator because I wanted the best part of dedicated task apps (a clean, focused view of what matters now) without moving my tasks out of Obsidian.

I already capture work in notes where context lives: dailies, people notes, project pages, meeting notes. I did not want another inbox, another sync layer, or another place where tasks go to die. I wanted native Obsidian tasks, with better aggregation and better signal.

Taskgregator is an Obsidian plugin that gives you a Things-style task rollup while keeping tasks native to your notes.

Why I built it: I wanted one focused view of open work, without moving tasks into another app or losing note context.

What it does
